The Discovery Maps are designed to help with the transition from simplified to more detailed political maps. They contain more place names and include insets that highlight physical features. Each map includes direction and location skills insets. The maps are printed on non-tear material, and mounted on a heavy-duty spring roller in brackets with a backboard.

A 12" Discovery Globe matches the Discovery Maps. It features bright colors and excellent readability. The globe is mounted in a metal swing meridian for an unrestricted view.
